The film is about Ainbo, a girl born and raised in the deepest jungle of the Amazon, Candámo. She lives in an unknown civilization that rests on the back of the most powerful Mother Spirit in the Amazon, turtle Motelo Mama. One day she discovers that her village is under threat and realizes that there are other people in the world besides her people. She fights to save her village from the greed and exploitation of children, logging and illegal mining.

In the spirit of Moana and Frozen, 'Ainbo - Spirit of the Amazon' is the epic journey of a young hero and her Spirit Guides, 'Dillo' a cute and humorous armadillo and 'Vaca' a crazy oversized tapir, who embark on a quest to save their village in the spectacular Amazon rainforest.
